It’s reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced to extend its No. 1 wire rod mill operation in order to meet the domestic market. The reason for CSC to remain the operation for No. 1 wire rod mill because its products are real simple but also can contribute of high quality with low cost to satisfy needs in the market. Meanwhile, the new extend project will expect to start construction in December this year and to complete in 2015.
